A 16-year-old boy who escaped from a juvenile residential treatment facility faces two attempted murder charges but not the theft of replica rolex watches in an Adams County shooting and standoff Monday night.Daniel Beardsley surrendered peacefully at 8:30 p.m. after the three-hour standoff that followed two shootings that left a rural Brooks man and county sheriff’s deputy injured. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation said Beardsley assaulted a Clarinda Academy staff member earlier that day, escaped the facility and fled in a stolen pickup truck.
